LCCE Young Musicians Awards

LCCE Young Musicians Awards allow us to offer five awards of up to £300 to gifted young musicians of any ethnic background between the ages of 10 – 15 years old with financial difficulties. 

The money should contribute towards lessons, extra curricular musical activities or the purchase of an instrument/accessory. 

We offer the following awards: 

  • LCCE Young String Players Awards (up to £300)
  • LCCE Young Brass Players Awards (up to £300)
  • LCCE Young Woodwind Players Awards (up to £300)
  • LCCE Christina Li Award (£100 donated by Christina Li & family to one player of any orchestral instrument. Selected from applicants in the three main categories) 
  • LCCE Tecknet Award (£100, a Power Bank and a LED Lamp donated by Tecknet to one string player. Selected from the String Players applicants)

Eligible candidates are required to complete the application form below and submit a recent short video of one or two pieces of their own selection (this can be unaccompanied). 

Please be aware that the amount of pieces submitted bares no influence over the end result. 

This prize is intended for gifted students with financial difficulties. 

The winner/s will be invited to perform in the Prize Winner’s Concert and are required to participate in LCCE summer rehearsal (23-27 August 2022).
